Max New York Life Insurance Company Ltd. is a joint venture between New York Life, a Fortune 100 company and Max India Limited, a multi-business organisation dealing in various diversified businesses in different sectors such as Clinical Research, IT and Telecom Services, and Specialty Plastic Products businesses.

Max New York Life Insurance started its commercial operation in India in 2001. It has set a milestone for itself by being the first life insurance company in India to be awarded the IS0 9001:2000 certification for its excellent services. Max New York Life Insurance has adopted various sound financial practices to provide complete safety and protection to policyholders and their investment.

Max New York Life Insurance has been continuously striving hard to increase the distribution channels in order to grow the insurance business in the country. In order to deepen its penetration in the emerging markets like India, the company currently has 33 bancassurance tie-ups, 14 corporate agency tie-ups and has sufficient number of direct sales force at 14 locations. Max New York Life has also been concentrating hard to cater to the needs of the untapped rural market of the country.For this it has set up a unique hub and spoke model in order to deepen its rural penetration.Currently the company has 39 (9 hub office 30 spoke offices) offices in the country.

Max New York Life offers a large number of customised and innovative insurance products to the customer.It offers 38 insurance products covering both life and health insurance and 8 riders that can be customised to over 800 combinations which helps a customer to choose the best product for themselves fulfilling all their financial requirements as well as providing protection to them and their family.Apart from this, the company also offers 6 products and 4 riders in group insurance business which can also be customised according to one`s needs.
